An Announcement: Am I a Fancy Blogger Yet? (Patreon!)

Answer: No. No, not quite yet.

I've been blogging for six years now over various platforms. It's been a fantastic experience and I love doing it, but now I've hit a bit of a wall. I will always write, and I want to blog for a long, long time...but at this point, I'm not gaining any ground.

This is where new things come in. I am thrilled to announce that I have launched a Patreon page! What is Patreon? (I hear you ask.) Patreon is exciting, that's what it is. It's an online platform for creators and their followers to interact more intimately, consumer-specific content and supporters of creator content to continue their support.

My goal is that through Patreon, I can switch my domain to a different web building site. I've used Blogger for six years, and it's limited and outdated; upgrading will enable me to bring you higher quality content and a cleaner, more user-friendly website! In order to transfer my domain (withoutwriting.com) I need a $5 a month subscription to the new website builder. (weebly.com) My hope is that this can be partially funded by my family, friends, and supporters: those who consume and encourage my creative content.

If you go to my Patreon page, you'll find three different subscription options: $1 a month, $2 a month, and $3 a month. Each subscription comes with their own rewards and content, so be sure to go investigate! I would also love reward suggestions, so be sure to shoot me an email or comment if you have ideas. My current goal is to reach $5 a month to fund a Weeby subscription, with the hope of looking into newsletter creation down the road!

Please so know that while I'm hoping to pursue these creative upgrades, the love shown to me daily via social media and messages is in itself support enough. The fact that people take the time to read my words is still rather baffling to me! Thank you for your ceaseless encouragement.
